What a wonderful, sweet book with an incredible message of loving something so much that when you lose it, but see it lives on happy without you, you’re ok with it. Isn’t that the very definition of loving someone or something so much, that THEIR happiness is the most important thing to you, that you’d sacrifice a bit of your happiness for their happiness? If kids learned this lesson early on, as they can do through this book, I think it would make for a lot more mature, understanding and loving adults in the future. Great stuff. Definitely recommended for your family too.
