My sisters and I have never had a good relationship with her; we put up with her so we could be around our father. She was the first person I decided to forgive when I started putting Forgive To Win into application in my life, and what a weight off of my shoulders it has been, what a physical and mental relief! Well, now we children are having to do some legal wrangling over my dad's estate and will because she wants to have a much of his estate as she can get, but I have decided not to "play her game." I have decided to work as hard as I can for my sisters and myself to get what we believe was our dad's intent in the will and his estate plan, but I believe that I can do it and still forgive his wife. It's kind of like what Jesus said on the cross, "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do." She doesn't realized that you get what you give in life, and that the person with the most of anything in this physical realm isn't the winner. Jesus also said, "Where your treasure is there will your heart be, also." I will remember that "when you strive for anything in this world in the belief it will bring you peace, you are belittling yourself and blinding yourself to glory."
