Our Thoughts Create Our Reality

It is my belief in illusions that makes them real. So hypnotized with the belief that I am a body born to die, so identified with my ego, an invention of my frightened Mind, I have forgotten who I really Am: Pure Consciousness. Eternal Spirit. Immortal and invulnerable. With the power of Love within me to create reality. With the power of love within me to move mountains, to turn water into wine, to fill endless barrels with bread and fish, to heal the sick and raise the dead.

Heal The Sick & Raise The Dead. Faith Can Move Mountains.

The Bible speaks of faith moving mountains. Turning water into wine. Multiplying bread and fish. Healing the sick and raising the dead. “All these things that I have done you can do and more.”

The Bible also speaks of forgiveness and love. Forgive thy enemies. Love and bless thy enemies. Do not judge lest you be judged. Treat others as you wish to be treated.

What if these two prevailing themes are related? What if the key to moving mountains, healing the sick and raising the dead is forgiveness, love and the end of judgment?

What if it’s not a what if? What if that’s the way it is?

Then this is our mission, each and every one of us: To love ye one another. There is nothing more important. There is nothing else to seek. There is nothing else to do.

If you love your planet, if you love your country, if you love your family and your children: Let go of judgment. Let go of thoughts of vengeance. Let go of the belief in differences.

Recognize the Oneness of everything. See yourself in everyone and everything. We’re all in this together.

There can be no eternal peace, no everlasting joy if we leave even one soul behind. Love ye one another.

Why I Wrote Forgive To Win!

I wrote Forgive To Win! because during my many years helping people as a board-certified psychiatrist, I realized that the cause of most people’s unhappiness, depression, anxiety, anger, and frustration with their health, their relationships, their career and their finances is self-sabotage.

Most people get in their own way. They don’t do things they know they need to do and when they do take action they make poor choices that impact negatively on their lives and keep them from attracting and manifesting all that they desire and aspire to accomplish.

When I started teaching my patients the secret to ending their self-sabotaging behaviors (spiritual techniques and cognitive tools designed to increase self-esteem and eliminate guilt, shame and self-loathing deeply embedded in the unconscious mind), their emotional turmoil subsided and their lives got better!

I realized that the Forgiveness Diet, my structured 90-day program for ending self-sabotage, was something that could benefit a great many people, particularly those who repeatedly buy self-help books but don’t get the results that they desire.

My Forgiveness Diet is not complicated. And it works! With diligent practice and persistence, you can:

Be successful in your career.

Generate wealth & prosperity.

Be successful in your relationships.

Generate love and harmony.

Increase self-confidence.

Eliminate fear and worry.

Be happy and healthy.

Lose weight. Keep weight off.

Get in shape.

Live long and live well.

When you re-program your mind to neutralize your negative, harsh Inner Critic, that voice inside yourself that subconsciously causes you to sabotage your opportunities and best efforts, EVERYTHING CHANGES!

Opportunities miraculously appear. Positive people are attracted to you who cooperate with you, share their blessings, and help you to succeed and prosper! There are NO LIMITS to what you can accomplish with Forgive To Win!”

As you engage in the Forgiveness Diet to eliminate your self-sabotaging behaviors and manifest the life you desire and deserve, you role model right-minded actions for others, you transform others, and you help to move the whole of humanity towards universal peace and prosperity. Eating Food Can Be Hazardous To Your Health

John Robbins, author of “The New Good Life: Living Better Than Ever in an Age of Less,” wrote an eye-opening Huffington Post, “Being Fat In America,” which was the final nail in the coffin of my attachment to eating animal products.

Three days ago, after reading his article, I made the commitment to adopt a healthy, low-fat, plant-strong diet. In other words — yes, folks– I have become a vegan. Not because it might be perceived by some as a progressive thing to do, which it is. Not because I don’t like the idea of eating other creatures on the planet, which is true. READ MORE…

How To Cope With Stress

Common symptoms of stress, particularly prolonged stress, are depression, anxiety, insomnia, irritability, anger, reactivity, impulsivity. Stress can affect appetite, energy levels, motivation. It can alter one’s perceptions, one’s thoughts, one’s insight and judgment. People who are stressed out just don’t think as clearly, they’re out of balance, disconnected from their higher, intuitive self. More vulnerable to a variety of illnesses, physical as well as emotional.

Stress, in general, weakens the immune system, diminishes the body’s ability to fend off illness and infection, to repair and to heal. Prolonged stress, with its dampening of the immune system, can generate headaches, muscle aches, neck and back aches, constipation, diarrhea, gastro-esophogeal reflux, ulcers. High blood pressure. Heart attacks and strokes. Stress WILL be hazardous to your health.

Stress increases one’s odds of having an accident, because stressed-out people are more easily distracted, not paying attention as best they can, such that an accident happens which otherwise might have been avoided.

If one does suffer bodily injuring secondary to an accident, one who is stressed has diminished capacity to heal and recover from it. When one’s mind and body are in good condition, the odds of recovering from a serious injury are much greater.

Last but not least, it is possible that prolonged stress weakens the immune system to such a degree that one becomes more vulnerable to tumors and cancers.

So what can be done about it?

Ideally, find ways to reduce the stress and eliminate it, if possible. Reducing the stress means recognizing what’s causing the stress, whether it be an exhausting job, financial insecurity, health problems, relationship problems. Whatever might be causing the stress needs to be acknowledged and enumerated.

The next step involves addressing these specific causes of stress in one’s life, perhaps making new decisions, perhaps taking new actions if there are indeed viable options. Make better choices and it’s possible to reduce, if not eliminate, the stressful triggers in one’s life.

Sometimes one can’t reduce or eliminate the stress. Some things are out of our control no matter what choices and decisions we make. In this case, reducing stress means reducing your reaction to stress. Finding ways to accept the difficult situation and co-exist with it, rather than having a physical or nervous breakdown.

In conjunction with trying to “change the things you can” and “accept the things you cannot change,” there are other ways to manage and cope with stress. Good nutrition is important. Eating balanced meals. Staying as far away from fast food and junk food as possible. Keeping the sugar and fat choices to a minimum. Exercising and working out can help dramatically. Meditation. Yoga. Talk therapy. Spiritual / Religious counseling. Vitamin and mineral supplements may help. Sometimes medications can help people deal with their stress. Sometimes medications are necessary, hopefully for just a brief period of time.

When people are stressed, they should avoid watching intense tv shows and movies. They should stay away from the horror, gore and violence. Watch comedies as much as possible. Laughter is healing. It does generate endorphins. Additionally, stay away from too much news. We all want to be informed. But past that, indulging in excessive viewing of the same information, the same message over and over again, is not helpful, particularly if you’re watching news about horrific things happening and yet to come.

When one is under stress, it’s best to try to “think lovely thoughts.” Think positive. Think hopeful, not pessimistic. See the glass as half-full, not half-empty. Make the decision to make lemonade out of lemons.  Be grateful for what you’ve got, despite whatever scarcity, limitation, lack or disappointment is in your life.

Try to see the silver lining in the dark clouds. Try to see the difficulties in your life as somehow blessings in disguise. Try to release judgment and attack thoughts despite what has happened to you. Try to forgive.

In stressful times, people and societies can lose their balance, their sense of purpose and intention. This is why, over the long run, it is critical, amidst the stress, fear and chaos, that we maintain as best we can our integrity, our compassion and our humanity.

The Mind-Body Connection – Part 2

The mind and the brain are not the same. The brain is part of the body. It is an organ like other organs in the body. It is part of the material world.

The mind is not part of the material world. The mind is not housed in the brain. The mind has no specific location. It is not confined to time or space. It is unlimited in its creative power.

Our body is limited. Our body has no creative power. Our body does our mind’s bidding. It does this when it gets sick, recovers from illnesses, gets old, and dies. All of this happens first in the mind, at an unconscious level.

When our body is sick, it is our mind that has generated the problem, and, therefore, it is our mind we must look to for the solution. In other words, “Only the mind can be sick and only the mind is in need of healing.” This is a quote from “A Course In Miracles,” which presents a thought system I believe in.

The question you’re now asking yourself is: “Where is the proof upon which he bases this belief?”

When some people who are depressed are given a placebo and told it is an antidepressant, their depression goes away, including their loss of appetite, their difficulty sleeping, their impaired attention and concentration, their loss of interest in things they like to do, and their somatic problems as well, such as headaches, stomach aches, muscle tension, and other physical discomforts. How can this be?

When some people who have chronic pain are hypnotized, their pain nerve fibers in their body are still firing like crazy, but there is no perceived pain. How can this be?

When some people use hypnosis while getting root canal without anesthesia, they experience no pain. How can this be?

When some women use hypnosis to undergo C-sections to deliver their babies without anesthesia, they experience no pain. How can this be?

When some people with cancers use guided imagery to visualize cancer cells being gobbled up by an army of white blood cells, their cancers go into remission. How can this be?

When some people focus their mind using biofeedback techniques, they are able to manage their pain, lower their blood pressure, and lower their heart rate. How can this be?

When some people use affirmations and visualizations to mobilize the Law of Attraction, positive outcomes are generated in their physical world. How can this be?

The reason why all these things occur is because everything starts in the mind. The mind is the prime mover.

We create our reality from our thoughts.

Everything in the physical world is an illusion generated by the Collective Mind, including our bodies. Long ago, we hypnotized ourselves into believing that we are bodies and that our bodies can be sick and die. And then we forgot that we did this.

And so, now, we identify with our bodies. And because our bodies are frail, get diseased, get old and die, we embrace fear at the core of our unconsciousness.

From that fear comes every perception we have in the world of scarcity, lack, limitation and separation, and the need for competition and aggression as a means to survive and succeed. And from all of this comes every negative emotion we experience, including depression, anxiety, and anger.

Were we to use our conscious mind to override our negativity by replacing our fear thoughts with thoughts of unconditional love, acceptance, forgiveness, and unity, all the manifestations of our fear would go away, our mind would be restored to sanity, peace and joy, our body would be restored to perfect health, and our world would reflect abundance and prosperity.

Our ego mind, that unconscious part of our mind that houses our fear, is already telling you that this is absurd and that only a naïve fool would endorse a philosophy that love can conquer all the evils in the world.

It is reminding you that nice guys finish last, that no good deed goes unpunished, that survival of the fittest means an eye for an eye, kill or be killed, and that no one can defend themselves with love.

Certainly, as long we believe in bodies, as long as we identify with our ego mind, which is devoted to preserving the idea that bodies are real, and as long as we are unaware that everything we now see is a figment of our fear thoughts, it would be insane to not defend ourselves when we are attacked, and to not take antibiotics when we get sick.

The point is this: We must change the way we think. We must stop being victims of our bodies and realize the power of our minds to create reality.

The first step in this process is to heal our mind by letting go of judgments as best we can, by accepting others as best we can, by letting go of resentments and grievances as best we can, by forgiving others as best we can, by being of service to others as best we can, and by extending compassion and unconditional love to others as best we can.

As we do this, we will see improvements in our lives, in the form of greater happiness, well-being, and material success.
